Usage Instructions
Find linear location
To find the linear location of any point on the map right click over a state highway. If you right click within 100m of a state highway the marker will snap to the point on the road closest to where you clicked. Note an information window will pop up showing the linear reference and map coordinates in several coordinate systems. If you close the information pop up the linear referece of the point can quickly be found by hovering the mouse over the marker.
Remove a marker
To remove a marker simply double click on the marker
Find an address
Click search and then 'Place' to search by address, town or area
Find a GPS coordinate
Click search and then 'Coordinates' to search by NZMG, NZTM or WGS84 coordinates
